The UN Expert Platform - Prototype
The “UNiverse” prototype platform was designed to make all diverse (over 500,000!) UN experts and their voices better known and heard, within and outside the UN system. Aim is to build trust and a sense of community, as well as to empower these experts to take better informed and faster concerted action in their work on UN-related issues.
Serving as a one-stop shop for expert voices and exchanges on matters related to the UN, users can build instant bonds with other community members and submit a simple "twin" on a global issues of their concern. At the same time, by making the overall discourse better visible and tangible, the platform offers an overview of the vast diversity of actors, for example all those that are working on implementing the SDGs, and the most outstanding related activities.
